L-RE or RE-R: Short Course

Total cost of  Assessment starts at $250.00.

To complete the Assessment takes approximately 4-5 hours.

This is the assessment that all motorbike riders must successfully complete to be granted a RE or R class licence.

What is the Assessment?

The assessment could be called RPL assessment, which stands for recognition of prior learning.  It is a process of assessment whereby you prove to the assessor that you can perform all of the tasks described in the outline of the course.

The course is just that – an assessment of your skills, knowledge and attitude in riding a motorbike.

Minimal training will be provided during this 4-5 hour session.

Designed for those regular riders who have their L or RE licence.  Whilst riding on either a Restricted RE motorbike or an open licence R motorbike we provide a refresher on relevant competencies prior to Assessment.  We then complete the assessment and paperwork and a Registered Service Provider provides you with a Q-Ride certificate which you take to Queensland Transport to get your RE or R class licence. In the logan area of south east Queensland be instructed in a safe environment with one on one communication with the trainer at all times.   This maximises time on the road ensuring value for money.

If you are found not competent in any of the course outcomes, you may be required to enrol in the training session for those specific competencies.  At the conclusion of the training you will be reassessed again in the areas you were found to be initially not competent.
