Student Responsibility
It is the student’s responsibility to attend all training at the appointed place, on time and in a physical condition to undertake riding.
It is mandatory that all students carry their licence and display a L plate/vest at all times when riding a motorbike on the road.
Each student will need to be dressed appropriately for rider training or training will be cancelled for safety reasons.
It is recommended by Queensland Transport that the learner rider in the Q-Ride program wears the following protective clothing and are informed of the following procedures:
Protective Clothing
1. A helmet which meets the Australian Standard;
2. Trousers made from heavy material (jeans/ leather/ textile) that cover the full length of the leg;
3. Shirt or jacket made from heavy material (jeans/ leather/ textile);
4. Eye protection designed for motorbike use;
5. Safety gloves designed for motorbike use;
6. Fully enclosed boots (no laces);
7. A high visibility vest with a L sign (supplied).
Procedures:
8. Student has been informed of InBalance Motorbike Training’s separation procedure;
9. During training, InBalance Motorbike Training management will take responsibility for any damage caused to training equipment supplied by InBalance Motorbike Training;
10. A Student using their own motorbike will sign a disclosure absolving InBalance Motorbike Training of any responsibility to any damage that is caused to their motorbike.
